GUIDELINES FOR POSTER AND ORAL PRESENTATION

Two Poster sessions will be scheduled on Tuesday 11th July:

• 1st Poster session: noon – 2:00 pm (during Lunch time)
• 2nd Poster session: 3:30 pm – 5:30 pm (during Coffee break)

Poster size: A0 portrait

Plenary lectures will be delivered as single sessions in the Mousseron Conference Hall.

Invited lectures and Oral Communications will be presented in three parallel sessions in the Mousseron A, Mousseron B and Godechot Conference Halls

The duration of presentations is:

• Oral communications: 15 min including discussions.
• Invited lectures: 30 min including discussions.
• Plenary lectures: 45 min including discussions.

Since the schedule of presentation sessions is tight, we ask that all speakers be on time in the correct conference hall and that they adhere strictly to the allocated time for their presentations. The introduction of each speaker by the session Chair will be kept brief. To ensure that the audience can move between sessions, we will adhere to the scheduled starting time for each session and presentation.

All speakers are asked to upload any slides/PowerPoint files required for their presentations in advance on the presentation computer provided by 10ESD in the respective conference rooms using USB keys. Technical staff will be available to assist with uploading of presentations during coffee breaks or lunch times. Please note the following requirements: 

• Ensure that your PowerPoint presentation is in 16:9 (widescreen) format. 
• Any videos must be embedded in PowerPoint files.
• Do not use links to YouTube videos or other webservices in your presentations.
• Only use fonts that are embedded in the Windows 10 operating system.
